At Hestia Training Academy, we’ve created three mentoring pathways designed to support you at different stages of your aesthetics journey.
Each programme gives you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and honest guidance while learning directly alongside an experienced practitioner in a working clinic environment.
Sessions are intentionally small and personalised, giving you the time,
support and feedback needed to strengthen your skills and develop the clinical judgement that successful practitioners rely on every day.
Some practitioners join us while progressing through their
Non-Medical Prescribing qualification, others want to refine their injecting technique, and some simply want to see how an experienced practitioner approaches consultations,
treatment planning and patient
care in real practice.

Programme Details:
Non Medical Prescribing Mentorship
Designed for aesthetic nurses progressing towards safe, confident prescribing.
This bespoke mentoring package is ideal for NMC-registered nurses undertaking their Non-Medical Prescribing qualification and looking to apply prescribing principles specifically within aesthetics.
- NMC-registered nurses completing a Non-Medical Prescribing qualification
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience working in the aesthetics industry
- Completion of a relevant foundation aesthetics course
- Valid aesthetic insurance in place
- Practical hours can be logged and counted towards your overall prescribing hours
- How to take a comprehensive medical history and obtain informed consent
- Safe and effective prescribing within aesthetic practice
- A clear understanding of products used in aesthetics, including pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics
- Identification and management of contraindications to treatment
- Recognition and management of aesthetic complications
- Sessions are fully tailored to your individual learning needs
- Each session lasts 3 hours
- Models for hands-on practical experience can be arranged at an additional cost
- Investment: £475 per session
Confidence Booster Mentorship
Build confidence, refine technique, and elevate your aesthetic practice.
This mentoring session is perfect for aesthetic practitioners who have foundational training and experience but are seeking to strengthen confidence, technique, and clinical decision-making.
Practitioners currently working in the aesthetics industry
Completion of a relevant foundation course
A minimum of 1 year’s injecting experience
Valid aesthetic insurance
Relevant anatomy and physiology for safe aesthetic practice
Conducting appropriate medical histories and obtaining informed consent
Identifying contraindications to treatment
Safe and effective injection techniques for anti-wrinkle treatments and/or dermal fillers
How to recognise and manage potential complications
Sessions are tailored to focus on your specific skill gaps or concerns
Each session lasts 3 hours
Three models are provided, allowing you to inject under direct supervision
Investment: £350 per session
In Clinic Shadowing Experience
Gain real-world insight into running a successful aesthetics clinic.
This shadowing experience offers a valuable opportunity to observe the day-to-day workings of an established aesthetics clinic and gain insight into best practice, patient care, and professional standards.
Practitioners working in the aesthetics industry
Completion of a relevant foundation course
A minimum of 1 year’s experience in aesthetics
Valid aesthetic insurance
The day-to-day operations of a professional aesthetics clinic
Observing live consultations, treatment planning, and injecting techniques
Understanding patient communication, consent, and clinical workflow

- Models for hands-on practical experience can be arranged at an additional cost
